Engineered for enthusiasts, collectors, and prop builders who value both movie-accurate detail and reliable performance, this kit combines authentic Stanley display reproduction, wireless prop synchronization, smart control features, and, new with v1.7, optional ELRS module integration.
Our new v1.7 PCB includes ELRS functionality! An original Futaba remote can be adapted for use with modern ExpressLRS transmitter/receiver technology, allowing vintage Futaba controls to interface with today’s high-performance RC systems. When wired for ELRS, the Futaba gimbals and up to 12 additional switches can be connected to an ELRS module, such as the RadioMaster Ranger Micro 2.4GHz ELRS Module, enabling the remote to function far beyond a static display prop.

Seamless Integration & Configurability
- Syncs wirelessly with our all of our props via Wi-Fi/BTTFN protocol for speedo speed control, alarms, and audio.
- Wire up to 8 different remote switches to the control board to trigger sounds, or MQTT (Home Assistant) routines.
- Features an advanced Wi-Fi Config Portal for setting speed modes (linear/movie), enabling coasting/auto-throttle, and integrating MQTT.

- Allows an older Futaba remote to be upgraded for use with modern ExpressLRS transmitter and receiver systems.

- Up to 12 additional switches can be wired into the ELRS system, greatly expanding the remote’s functionality.
- Compatible with ELRS modules that have 5V, GND, and Data pins – JR style micro recommended
- Ideal for builders who want a movie-accurate Futaba remote that can also serve as a functional modern wireless controller.
- Wiring is required for ELRS functionality.
- ELRS module, receiver, and related wiring/configuration are not included unless otherwise specified.
Stanley Displays
- Meticulously reproduced 7 piece Stanley numeric displays, with accurate yellow color (LEDs), showing speed digits just like the original prop.
- Bodies are 3d printed in ABS plastic.
- Lenses are acrylic with a diffuser backing.

Display Wires
- The wiring harness faithfully replicates the original design, ensuring authentic visual detail.
- All wires are used and attached to the Stanley display pins, just like the original.
Control Board & Prop Sync
- Wireless control via an ESP32 board that precisely manages throttle using your Futaba transmitter’s elevator stick.
- Speed up or slow down, but once you reach 88 mph a time-travel is triggered on all synced props.
- Can operate as both a prop control interface and, as of v1.7, a bridge between vintage Futaba hardware and modern ELRS transmitter/receiver technology.
Movie-Accurate Stop Light & Switch
- Features an authentic Molex 1820 “Stop” light (replica red lens)
- Genuine stop/brake switch, mirroring the original behavior, complete with switch sound effect.
Power & Calibration
- Rechargeable 5000mAh lipo battery
- Includes calibration routines via onboard button for throttle zero/endpoint setup & ELRS gimbal calibration
- Fake “ON/OFF” switch; remote-off mode also displays Speedo speed (e.g. GPS speed in vehicle use).

What you’ll need to complete your remote
- A Futaba remote
- The FP-T8SGA-FP is the original remote.
- The SGH is the very similar helicopter version with 3 extra knobs on top.
- FP-T7, T5, or T4/Conquest remotes will work too!*
- Grey Unibox 140 (our control board was made to fit in this box)
- Red Rotex labels
- “ON/OFF” Switch: Miyama MS 500 A-MF or 500k (look on eBay or Aliexpress)

- “O.O” and “RESET” buttons: Here. Used without the cap, and the stub cut shorter

*Modification of display bracket is needed unless using a T8 remote. Depending on the remote, for the bracket to sit flat on the top of the remote, either the smaller or larger lip of the bracket will have to be cut off.
